How it works

Find out everything you need to know about Fetch’d –
a smart pet tag designed to help reunite pets with owners.

Here’s how to set up your Pawsport:

Step 1:

Give yourself a round of a-paws – you’ve given your furry friend the best chance of being found if they decide to stray too far from the kennel.

Step 2:

Scan the QR code on your unique Fetch’d tag. This is found on the back of the tag and is unique to each animal.

Step 3:

Follow the on-screen prompts to set up your pet’s Pawsport. If you don’t have a Fetch’d account, you will be prompted to set one up.

Step 4:

Include as much detail as possible in your Pawsport to ensure your pet is well looked after if they do manage to go for a wander. This includes emergency vet details, health conditions and things that may spook them.

Step 5:

Save your pet’s Pawsport and head back to the dashboard. From here, you can view your active pets, update details, or add a new Pawsport.

What happens if my pet goes off-leash?

If your pet decides that the tennis balls are greener on the other side and wanders off, you can share their Pawsport online. Here’s how:

Step 1:

Paws. Take a deep breath. It’s ok to be worried, but you’ve got the tools on your side to help find them.

Step 2:

Log in to your Fetch’d account and select the Pawsport of the pet who has gone missing. Click the ‘missing’ tab and complete the last known location and relevant information to share with the Fetch’d community.

Step 3:

At the top of their Pawsport, you’ll see the option to “share Pawsport link”. Clicking this will copy the link to your clipboard. From here, you can post to whichever platforms you like. If you have a smartphone, clicking the “share” button in your internet browser will give you options to share your pet’s Pawsport directly to specific apps.

Step 4:

Send the link to your friends and family members and encourage them to share. Getting the word out will help bring your furry friend home.

Step 5:

Save your pet’s Pawsport and head back to the dashboard. From here, you can view your active pets, update details, or add a new Pawsport.

I found a pet with a Fetch’d tag – what do I do?

Firstly, congratulations on being a super hooman and taking the steps to reunite a pet with its owner. Once you’ve scanned the QR code on their smart pet tag, you will be taken to their “Pawsport”. This will give you all the information about who you’ve found, including owner contact details, any known health conditions, and emergency vet contact details. You have the option at the bottom of the profile to call the owner or share your GPS location and the Pawsport link.

Some other things to consider include:

  • Look through the Pawsport to see if there are any existing medical conditions. Are they allergic to anything that you should be cautious of?
  • Check out what makes them nervous. Some pets may not be good around other animals, small children, or specific genders. Looking at this information will help you make the pet feel comfortable until you can contact their hooman.
  • If they are injured, you have an emergency vet listed – get in touch. The vet may be able to assist you and help to find and contact the owners.

Please note:

Fetch’d is a passive GPS tracker.

This means that the location is taken from the smartphone that scans the QR code. There is no battery in our product, so no GPS signal is given out. Your Fetch’d product will function at 100%.  24/7 – 365 days a year.
