5 PET INFORMATION
We operate a web application known as “Fetch’d” (App) which allows owners (Pet Owners) of our pet tags (Pet Tags) to input, manage, share and view information about their pet, such as name, age, breed and photos of their pet, microchip information, their pet’s emergency vet details and information about their pet’s health, wellbeing or behaviour (including any previous or current medical conditions, illnesses or injuries, any allergies or intolerances, any sensitivities to people, objects, dogs or other animals or any aggressive or anxious tendencies), as well as personal information about themselves including name, email address, mobile phone number and physical address (Pet Information). A key benefit of this is that a profile setting out that Pet Information is able to maintained for a pet (Profile), and if that pet goes missing, the Pet Owner’s Profile can be accessed by any person that scans the QR code on the relevant Pet Tag (Pet Finder).
A Pet Owner is able to modify the settings (using the functionality) in the App so that only certain Pet Information in their Profile can be accessed and viewed by a Pet Finder.
We are not able to actively monitor all information a Pet Owner inputs to and shares via the App and cannot guarantee that Pet Information (or personal information) will not inadvertently be shared.
6 LOCATION SERVICES DATA
If you are a Pet Finder, and you scan the QR code on a Pet Tag, the App will request your consent to use location services to precisely identify your location (i.e. each time the App is opened or has been placed in the background for more than 30 seconds). If you provide your consent, we will share your location with the relevant Pet Owner so that the Pet Owner is able to meet you to collect their missing pet.
If you do not provide your consent, you may still access the Profile available via the App (and use the contact information in the Profile to contact the relevant Pet Owner) but that will mean the “location services” feature on the App will not be available. To withdraw your consent at any time you can turn off the localisation permissions for our app on your device.
The location services in the App will not operate unless location services/data are generally enabled on your device. You may disable such functionality at any time by turning your device’s location on “off” using the device’s settings app. When you allow your device to use location services/data, data will also be collected by Google in accordance with their Privacy Policy, as this is the map service we integrate to our app.
We exert no control over Google’s Privacy Policy and we therefore recommend that you consult their privacy policy for further information on how Google protect personal data. Please visit their site at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en-US.
